Catalog DL — Privacy

Data and purpose

Catalog DL uses selected Shopify products, images, variants, prices, descriptions, available metafields and translations to create catalogs. We store projects, templates, branding, processed images, PDFs and published links. Shopify sessions and subscription status secure access and enforce plan limits. The app does not request access to store customers or orders. Avoid adding sensitive personal information to your own content.

Hosting and sharing

Processing needed to create and retain catalogs is based on providing the service you request. Security processing relies on our legitimate interest in preventing unauthorized access. Relevant data is necessary for the features you use.

The app runs on an OVHcloud VPS in France. Shopify provides authentication and subscription management. Data is used to provide and secure the service and respond to support requests; we do not sell it. Anyone with an active catalog link can view and download the published version. Withdrawing a link does not erase copies already downloaded.

Retention and your requests

Projects are retained while you use the service. Uninstalling disables published links and removes sessions. Shopify’s subsequent shop deletion request triggers deletion of the shop’s stored data and files. Local backups rotate with a seven-day retention period. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your data. You may also complain to the French supervisory authority, CNIL.

Depending on your circumstances, you may also request restriction, object to processing or request data portability. Support messages use Gmail, whose provider may process messages outside the European Union under its own data protection safeguards.
